Terms of Sale

1. Parties

These terms apply between SAVER AS, a company registered in Norway with organisation number 924 505 206 ("SAVER"), and the business that takes out a subscription ("the Customer").

The service is sold to businesses only. By subscribing, the person completing the purchase confirms that they are acting on behalf of a business, organisation or public body, for purposes related to its trade, business or profession, and that they are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf. The service is not offered to consumers. If you are a consumer, do not subscribe; contact post@saver.no instead.

These terms apply to subscriptions purchased in euro on saver.no/en. Subscriptions purchased in Norwegian kroner on saver.no are governed by the Norwegian terms of sale.

2. The service

SAVER Crisis Console is a web-based tool that uses artificial intelligence to structure a description of a situation following the methodology in ISO 22361. It suggests the reasonable worst case, priorities, decisions and stakeholders.

The service provides decision support, not decisions. The content is AI-generated and may contain errors, omissions or inaccuracies. It does not replace professional expertise, the Customer's own plans, legal advice or instructions from the authorities. The Customer alone is responsible for every decision it makes.

Notification and reporting obligations. The Customer selects a country, and the service then takes that country into account when it suggests obligations to notify or report to authorities. These suggestions are general, may be incomplete or out of date, and are not legal advice. Where the service is not confident, it leaves the notification field empty and asks the Customer to check. The Customer is responsible for identifying and meeting its own legal obligations in every jurisdiction in which it operates.

Subscribers can also get message drafts (to staff, next of kin, management and the media) based on the situation picture. The drafts are suggestions. The Customer is always the sender and is responsible for what is sent.

The service also includes an exercise mode, in which AI creates a realistic crisis scenario, simulates developments and evaluates how the crisis team handled it. The exercise report is AI-generated support based on what the team itself wrote. It does not replace a qualified exercise director, nor the Customer's own evaluation or any documentation required by law. Scenarios, people and organisations in the exercises are fictitious.

If there is an immediate threat to life or health, contact the emergency services first (for example 112 in Europe, 999 in the United Kingdom, 911 in North America, 000 in Australia) before using the tool.

The console also shows information from open public data sources, including GDACS (Global Disaster Alert and Coordination System, a joint initiative of the European Commission and the United Nations) and the U.S. Geological Survey. SAVER does not own, control or guarantee the content of these sources, and is not liable for errors, delays or interruptions in them.

3. Price and payment

The subscription costs €99 per month, billed monthly in advance by card through our payment provider Stripe. SAVER does not store card details. Any currency conversion or card fees charged by the Customer's bank are the Customer's own.

Taxes. Prices are stated exclusive of VAT, GST and similar taxes. SAVER does not currently charge such taxes on the subscription. Where VAT or a similar tax is due on the Customer's purchase under the reverse-charge mechanism or equivalent rules in the Customer's country, the Customer is responsible for accounting for it. If SAVER becomes required to charge such taxes, the Customer will be notified by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect.

Business details. At checkout the Customer provides its legal business name, billing address and, in countries where this is supported, its VAT or tax registration number. These details appear on the invoice. The Customer is responsible for their accuracy.

The first analysis is free and requires no payment or account. The exercise mode requires an active subscription.

SAVER may change the price with at least 30 days' notice by email to the address given at purchase. If the price increases, the Customer may cancel with effect from the date the change takes effect.

4. Term and cancellation

The subscription runs monthly and renews automatically until it is cancelled. There is no minimum term.

The Customer can cancel at any time via "Manage subscription" in the console, or by contacting post@saver.no. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Fees already paid are not refunded on cancellation.

SAVER may terminate the agreement with 30 days' notice, or with immediate effect if the Customer is in material breach. If SAVER terminates without breach by the Customer, a proportionate share of any prepaid fee is refunded.

5. No right of withdrawal

The service is sold to businesses only. The statutory right of withdrawal that applies to consumer purchases in some countries does not apply. Access is provided immediately after payment. The Customer may instead cancel at any time without a minimum term, as set out in section 4.

6. One user per subscription

Each subscription is linked to one email address and gives access for one named user. The email address identifies the subscription and is used to restore access on new devices.

Several people may not share the same email address or the same subscription. If more people in the Customer's organisation are to use the service, each user needs their own subscription with their own email address. The user may use the subscription on several of their own devices (for example a computer and a phone).

If this section is breached, SAVER may suspend access with immediate effect and charge for the actual number of users. Organisations needing several users can contact post@saver.no for a combined agreement.

7. The Customer's responsibilities

The Customer is responsible for:

8. Data processing

SAVER does not store situation descriptions, AI-generated responses, uploaded plans or exercises on its own servers. The content stays in the Customer's browser.

Text sent for analysis, including content from an uploaded plan, is processed by OpenAI Ireland Ltd. as a data processor for SAVER, under a data processing agreement. OpenAI does not use the content to train its models. SAVER has turned off storage of responses at OpenAI, but OpenAI may retain requests for up to 30 days to detect abuse before they are deleted. Processing may involve transfer to OpenAI's group company in the United States, with the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as the transfer mechanism.

The Customer should not enter more personal data than necessary, and should avoid names, national identity numbers and health information about individuals. Describe the role instead, for example "an employee" or "the night watchman".

If the Customer uses speech-to-text, the audio is processed by the Customer's own browser vendor — Google in Chrome and Edge, Apple in Safari — under their own privacy terms. This processing is outside SAVER's control, and the vendor is not a processor for SAVER. SAVER receives only the transcribed text and does not store audio. The Customer must decide whether this is compatible with its own procedures before using the feature. The feature is optional, and all text can be typed in manually.

SAVER uses the following sub-processors:

If the Customer needs a separate data processing agreement, this can be arranged by contacting post@saver.no. A summary for use in risk assessments is on the security and privacy page.

9. Email from SAVER

SAVER uses the email address linked to the subscription to send messages that are necessary for the agreement: service messages, planned maintenance, security notices, changes to price or terms, and payment information. These cannot be opted out of while the subscription runs.

SAVER may also send news about the service, new features and similar services from SAVER. The Customer can opt out of these at any time, free of charge, by replying "unsubscribe" to the email or writing to post@saver.no. Opting out does not apply to the messages in the paragraph above.

SAVER does not sell or share email addresses with others.

10. Availability

SAVER works to keep the service available but gives no uptime guarantee. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, faults, or outages at sub-processors such as OpenAI, Stripe or Railway, or at the public data sources.

The service must not be the Customer's only emergency management tool. The Customer must have procedures that work when the service is unavailable.

11. Limitation of liability

SAVER is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of business, loss of profit, loss of data, reputational damage or third-party claims.

SAVER's total liability is in any event limited to the amount the Customer has paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

These limitations do not apply in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence by SAVER, or where mandatory law prevents them.

12. Intellectual property

SAVER owns all rights to the service, including software, methodology and design. The Customer receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for as long as the subscription runs.

The Customer owns the content it enters and the reports generated from it.

13. Changes to these terms

SAVER may change these terms with at least 30 days' notice by email. Continued use after a change has taken effect counts as acceptance. The Customer may cancel the subscription before the change takes effect.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. The parties will seek to resolve disputes amicably. If this fails, Oslo District Court (Oslo tingrett) has exclusive jurisdiction.
